Director of Marketing and Sales

Dan likes to collect things: vinyl records, wine, wine credentials (WSET level 4 Diploma, WSET Certified Instructor, CSW, French Wine Scholar), and passports (dual citizen – Italy and USA).  In 1999, after graduating from the University of Illinois, Dan began his career with Chicago Wine Merchants. A year later, he relocated to San Francisco and spent eleven formative years with Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants.

Along the way, he crushed the WSET program and spent two years in the Master of Wine program. In 2012, Dan relocated to Columbus, Ohio with his wife and baby and began a career with Wine Trends. In addition to brand management, Dan also runs the digital marketing and social media initiatives for Wine Trends. In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, making music, and renovating his 1890’s home. Luke Hueckel sometimes calls him DJ Beaujolais.
