Ted Helmes
Customer Development Manager
Ted Helmes the ‘Original Wine Trends Manager’ since 2006. Ted has thirty-seven years of experience learning and winning in the beverage industry. His top goal at work and in life is to over-deliver, beat the expectation and share a great bottle of wine along the way.
When he’s not enjoying those exceptional bottles, Ted can be found fishing or rummaging through antique and collectible sales looking for classic vinyl and vintage Ohio art pottery. His most cherished vinyl finds are 1950’s artists that recorded at King Records in Cincinnati: James Brown, Little Willie John, Hank Ballard and many more.
Fun Fact: At the age of 12, Ted caddied in a LPGA golf tournament. His pro-golfer that week was the multi-sport athlete Althea Gibson, one of the first Black athletes to cross the color line of international tennis. She won the Wimbledon and reached the top 26 in the women’s pro-golf circuit.
